My whole life I smelled like chlorine, no joke. It wasn’t until recently that I started wearing what I call “smelly smell good”, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get tired of it! I’ve only ever had two perfumes. My first one was Viva La Juicy, when I was in high school. Are we surprised? This is a popular one for first time perfumer wearers, as far as I’ve seen. It was nice at the time, but I’ve outgrown it.
When I went to look for another scent I liked, I did a lot of research. But, honestly, I’m poor. Perfume is expensive. Dilemma. And so, things didn’t really work out for me… and I gave up and ended up not buying anything. I totally forgot about it until one day I was at Target getting some chapstick (honestly, I don’t usually buy it here, Amazon sells Burt’s Bees in value packs and that’s a NEED for me… but this was an emergency). The chapstick was in the same aisle as some perfume, so I did some investigating. And, by some miracle, I found the perfume of all perfumes. I can’t even tell you. I literally wanted to eat it, it smelled that good. And the name is perfect: QUEEN BEE by Good Chemistry.
This stuff is like a drug, my boyfriend can attest to that. It’s like I put the stuff on and he’s in a trance… and so am I haha. Target describes this scent as “vibrant + bold with a touch of sass”. I tried to think of another way to describe it, but that’s pretty much the most accurate thing I’ve heard all day. The magic potion’s got black currant, peony, and amber in it, and is paraben & cruelty free and vegan. That’s a whole lot of stuff that I don’t entirely understand, but I know it’s good. Also, here’s the real kicker. It’s only $25 for 1.7 fl, which is a good-sized bottle. I’ve been using mine for like 3 months now and it’s hardly made a dent with a spray every day.
And it’s so good that it’s sold out ALL the time in stores and online. The first time I discovered it, I just got the body mist because the perfume was sold out. I loved it so much that I had to have it, and I didn’t care that I was buying a cheap version of it. It’s that good, you guys. I want everyone to be this stoked when they put on their smelly smell good, so I had to write about it. If you want some extra lovin’ from your partner, I’d highly suggest buying this stuff ASAP. The perfume was sold out for legit a year, but it’s finally back and this is me singing my praises!
